Learn more about the Tierra Encantada franchise brand.
Tierra Encantada was born from a refusal to compromise. When our founder couldn’t find early education that combined authentic Spanish immersion, nutritious meals, and respect for educators, she set out to create it. What began as a single center has grown into a national community of families who believe every child deserves a nurturing, bilingual second home.
We believe that early childhood is a time for discovery. By bringing Spanish immersion, play-based STEAM, and organic, from-scratch dining under one roof, we provide a foundation for the whole child to thrive. Our centers aren’t just childcare facilities; they are warm, inclusive spaces where curiosity is cultivated and diversity is celebrated.
As the demand for high-quality childcare grows, Tierra Encantada offers a distinct model that families intentionally seek out. Through both corporate growth and mission-led franchise partnerships, we expand with the same care and consistency that defined our very first location.
Today, we invite partners to bring this extraordinary experience to their own neighborhoods, supporting local demand while helping children learn, grow, and graduate bilingual.
Tierra Encantada began in 2013 with a mother’s search for a better childcare solution. After touring centers that lacked diversity, organic nutrition, and professional support for educators, our founder, Kristen Denzer, refused to settle and built the educational experience she wished had existed for her own children.
What started as a single school in Eagan, Minnesota, has grown into a nationally recognized Spanish immersion early education brand, rooted in the belief that language and culture shape how children see the world.
Today, Kristen guides our mission-led franchise network with that same original intentionality, partnering with entrepreneurs to bring high-quality, holistic early education to local communities across the country.
Tierra Encantada franchise partners are values-driven leaders who believe in education, culture, and community impact. Childcare or Spanish-language experience isn’t required, as our model supports both hands-on and semi- or full-absentee owners focused on building strong teams and creating meaningful, long-term growth in their communities.
